Because of Sex
Are we living through the rollback of LGBTQ equality under a conservative leaning judicial system?
OVERVIEW
When two gay men and a transgender woman lose their jobs after “coming out” each sues claiming workplace discrimination on the “basis of sex”, an argument that brings them together before the newly conservative Trump Supreme Court may ultimately divide them by revoking LGBTQ workplace rights in what could be Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s final courtroom battle just months before election 2020.
The possible outcome is an America where a gay person can get legally married on Sunday, and legally fired on Monday for doing so.
